Well yesterday was the end of our SMX spring series at HawBranch N.C.  I didnt do great but rode  well and finished 5 out 6 but remain 2nd overall for the series.  On the great side it was my first race with my new sponsor (Steel MX / SMX Optics) and man they are some great goggles, I love them they are so clear my papa put on the smoke lens on sat whent he sun was out and I made him keep that lens because it looks cool on sunday while it was raining and could still see great!!  This track was wierd parts of it was sandy and others was mud and hard packed stuff so made rinidng a challenge.  I spun out on lap 3 first moto and could not catch back up but on last moto I was right on tail of guy in front and another straight away I could have passed, but that is racing.  We now have a couple of week break then some night races (it gets hot here in the south) then in sept we start the fall series.  I will keep posting results here until they update my results saction so I can do it there.

I raced at Trazack in NC near Castle Hayne, I placed 4th out of 6 today but rode great considering I dont like this track at all !!  I wrecked here last time real bad and am afraid of some of the table tops and doubles but pushed myselef and completed a couple of them.  I finished in front of the #1 for series ponits guy so it will close gap a bit.  My papa said i did great and finished good with some big jumps and the land disappering below me with coming off of the big table tops goning faster each lap.  Hopefully have new pictures soon.

Today I raced at cow branch in NC and placed 3rd  behind 2 faster AMA riders with a field of 8, but I was on their tail and was racing hard.  It was a tuff track for me I am not used to a sand base tracks but I did well my papa said.  There was some big doubles and table tops I learned how to jump them all!!   I really feel good because I earned this one with the faster riders I held my own and didnt get distracted.  This is my first real podium finish with faster riders and it feels awesome can't wait to do some more!  New pictures to follow.
