We have made it thru 2 more rounds of racing here in North Carolina in the Southern Motorcross Series. Josh raced well in Rnd 4 at Half Moon finishing first in his class and 3rd in the open class but never lost sight of the faster rider always. Rnd 5 was different story we went saturday may 2nd and had just had a new rear shock and rear tire installed so practice was a must. After 2 laps we made adjustments and got the bike settled in so we made a deal for him to clear a 55 or so table top that the riders in his class are completing that same day, so he took it and did it easliy. the next session of laps included him trying the next longer table top after the one just cleared and he was close, but about lap 4 the wind took him and when landed slammed the bike sideways! putting him into the ground very hard enought to bend the bars and rear sub frame!! After getting him up and checked out only major bruising, even under the elbow and knee braces! Thats how hard he hit the ground, we went and checked bike out and thankfully our competator and freind loaned us their bars off the spare bike (Thanks JJ #28) and he actually came out 25 mins later and said he was ready. He went back out same day about 1 hr later and cleared both jumps again with no trouble!!! the next day during race he completed bot also impressing his nana and friends who didn't see the wreck but saw the damage afterwards. I have posted 3 pics on the site but hey are no comparision to the real thing. Thanks EVS for great equipment!! I truely believe it saved the collar bone from being broke.
