Q&A - Personal
What inspires you to compete?
Adrenaline and my goal of reaching the X Games.
Describe your style...
Steez on and off the snow.
Do you train? What does your schedule look like?
I always am pushing myself to learn new things.
Music?
Anything that keeps me going.
Do you like to travel? What's your best (clean) road trip story?
I love traveling. Like this one time we drove down to Tahoe and it was the craziest drive ever. We stopped in this town that I can't even remember the name of and it was like zombie town. Everyone there just was doing their job. You'd say hi and theyd just grunt in acknoledgement and go back to cleaning tables, sorting paper or whatever.
Then when we finally got there I realized I had forgotten my jacket so I rode the whole time in layers of tees and sweatshirts and nearly froze my ass off. Good times.

Q&A - Competition
How did you get started?
It all started one night at an Epic Snow rail jam...
I feel the cool Portland night air on my face. I am strapping in at the top of a 16 foot drop-in. At the bottom of the drop-in is a jump built from snow trucked down from Mt. Hood. The jump leads to a box and then to a landing. The event at this small shop in NW Portland is now fully alive. The music’s loud bass pounds all around me. The wild crowd is cheering and yelling. They came to see a show, and they’re looking to me to give it to them. I know I am the youngest person here, but I can’t let that bother me. The pressure’s on. This is my chance. I take a deep breath, pop a 90° and drop in.
As I make my way down the ramp at what feels like 100 miles an hour, I stare ahead in concentration. In front of me is a jump that will launch me onto the box that this entire event is centered around. I feel myself fly off the jump and into the air. As I travel through the air, I feel the wind rush through me. Then suddenly, with a smack, I land on the box. I land perfectly in a tail press. I press all the way through the box. I pop a little 180° off the end and land on the snow.
