What inspires you to compete?
What inspired me to compete was my dad. He rode dirtbikes when he was a kid as I said before. He never raced but his life long dream was to see one of his kids succeed in winning a race. My brother and I have both accomplished that. Also watching motocross on TV gives me the will to go win a race.
What has been your most embarrassing moment?
One of my most embarresing moments was when I was at Byron Motorsports Park. It was a double gate drop, the 85jr went with the 85sr. The 85sr class went first. I told myself don`t go with the 85sr`s. Sure enough, I went with them. I didn`t feel very good so I turned around and I went back to the gates. I was so embarresed.
Why do you like this sport?
I like this sport for a couple of reasons. I take it as more like a competitive way to put everything aside me and just ride. It is also a very fun sport. As I said before, my dad got me started so it really inspired me to ride and race dirtikes.
Do you train? What does your schedule look like?
Yes I do train. I train by in the morning I will stretch out and then take a run around the block with my brother. I actually enjoy running. But, not only running I also do sit ups and push ups. I really enjoy that as well.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
When I grow up I want to have something to do with motocross. I would like my kids to love the sport jsut as much as I do. As for job wise, I would like to follow in the footsteps of my dad, and be a tile installer. But if I get the opportunity to do something else better then I will most likely take it.
