Q&A - Personal

Why do you like this sport?

I like motocross so much because I'm very competitive. I have big goals set and each year. I come close to meeting them or meet most of them. I've grown up around fourwheelers and snowmobiles. My dad put me on a threewheeler when I turned three. Then when i was five he bought me a 2001 YZ80. From there on I went to a couple races and loved it. I told my dad that I wanted to race so bad, and he went out and bought me a 2003 King Cobra. It was pretty rough and we fixed it up for weeks and we went to my first race on June,1,2004.

What inspires you to compete?

My Dad is a big help he keeps my bike super clean and running strong but still stock. It's really fun when you get the adrealine rush, and that keeps me going.

Describe your style...

My style is consistent and pretty fast I'm not very big on huge doubles but I'll jump any table top you throw at me or ski jump. I'm good at cornering, and block passing. Also I ride up hills and freeride at my house a lot because we have 100 acres of land and I have a motocross track It's not very good but we are working on it. I'm building up my confidence at NEMX this winter so I think I'll be alright on jumping and cornering this summer because of riding all through the winter.
