Q&A - Competition
How did you get started?
My dad bought a DRZ400 after we went to see the Marshfield Fair Supercross. I got jealous so one day he came home with a CRF70F in the back of the pickup. I've been keeping it real ever since.
List your competitive highlights:
I got 7th overall last year in Jack Frost, I'm in the Mini A class in NETRA, and in my first hare scramble I got 6th overall in the A class. I just moved up to B in NESC.
What are you planning for next season?
To change my number to 391, become faster and stronger, and we'll be on a 250f.
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
Moving up to the A class.
Q&A - Personal
What inspires you to compete?
Setting new goals at every race and the intensity that motocross requires.
Describe your style...
My style is smooth and standing up and leaning back a lot.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I want to be a professional Arenacross rider.
Do you train? What does your schedule look like?
I practice 4 times a week on my track in my backyard and at other practice tracks. I do 150 sit ups in the morning and 60 pull ups in the afternoon every day.
What has been your most embarrassing moment?
My most embarrassing moment was the last race of the season in the 65 class when I was in 3rd place. Right before the last corner on the last lap my bike blew. Also, when I was going off of a spectator tabletop, my racing pants fell down to my knees!
