This race had a top team pot this time and happy to say, our team the "EFFN MARINES" pulled the number three team slot out of the 6 temas that raced. We pulled 2 first place, 1 second place, 1 third place, and 1 sixth place finish respectively. we held our own for our fisrt team race ever...........

I ran the Desert Super Course #2 on April 12, 2008. I ran a pretty good race and managed a 3rd place finish in my class. the first lap was a little bit hectic as it was a le mans start and people were scrambling all over the place. unfortunetly one of the racers in the 40+ Nov Class lost control on some sand and ended up face planting right in the middle of the trail. he got run over by two other racers and though i wanted to just move out of the way and continue on my way, my heart told me otherwise. So, i dropped my bike and went and helped him out. he was pretty tore up. blood pooling out of his helmet from his nose and mouth and he didnt knwo where he was. i got him uo and offf to the side of the trail and checked him out best i could. luckily, another racer stopped and had a cell phone on her and called back for an ambulance and help. last i heard he has some fractured ribs and probably a concussion but he was at home doing fine. hope to se him again in the June race.
after that ordeal, i sped off in hopes of making up some valuable lost time, about 12 minutes worth. I think i did it, by the end of the 2nd lap i was in 3rd place and i held onto that the rest of the course.
it was fun and i am really looking forward to the june sunrise course and some more competition.

Well, I went out and gave it my all, unfortunetly I got slammed into by another rider going about 40 mph, flipped me and knocked the bug turds outta me. I have no idea what happened to him or even exactly who it was. So my nose is broke, and the ambulance crew said I had a small concussion, and a load of bruises and scrapes and cuts.. The bar mounts and the bars on my bike are completely wacked out, and the forks are twisted pretty good.. I managed to limp back to the finish line, but couldnt remember starting the race.....What can I say though... Better luck next time...

On Saturday Feb16, 2008 I will be running my first Race in the AMA Sanc. Desert Super Course series in California City, CA. I'll be runnin an 06 CRF450 in the Open Begginers class...Wish Me Luck
