My name is Adam Sedlmajer; I am twenty years old and currently attending school at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. I was fortunate to get a full ride scholarship to attend ULM based on my waterskiing. This past fall I helped the team bring home the schools twentieth national title by winning the mens overall title, and placing second in tricks, and third in slalom and jump.
I am from Prague, Czech Republic. I started skiing when I was seven when my family went on vacation to Croatia. Growing up I was always going to the mountains to snow ski as much as I could, and when it did get warm I would start skiing with my sister. My sister is three years older and attending college in Prague. Although our hobbies have changed, I still enjoy snowboarding, mountain climbing, mountain bike riding, and surfing on my free time.
When we do get breaks from school I drive down to Destin, Florida and ski at Cory Pickos Waterski and Wakeboard School (www.corypickos.com), and when the surf is up I try my luck on the surfboard. This January I competed in Santiago, Chile at the Under 21 Worlds where I took second in overall and tricks. I look forward to the new season that awaits with my goals to participate on my first pro tournaments.
