Q&A - Personal
Why do you like this sport?
I've been doing this ever since i can remember... My parents grew me up on ski's, then i went snowboarding with a few friends and I never went back to skiing. I love this sport, because there is NO limit. Snowboarding is my way out of stress. Whenever life is coming at me hard, there's nothing better than a day in the park. I love snowboarding.
Some Personal Information About Me:
I've grown up in a little itty bitty town called Logan. It's right next to SLC and Park City. Although its a small town, it's RIGHT by Park City and there's no better place than park city! the snowboarders in Park City are no doubt some of the greatest snowboarders in the world, and to be involved and to snowboard with them is absolutely phenominal
Describe your style...
my style?... There's alot of style when i snowboard... BUT I have a really awesome story i wanna share. BTW, this has changed my life forever...
... i was snowboarding with a buddy right? and we were at the terrain park, and that year they had this HUGE dragon rail up and it was the biggest and hardest rail on the mountain. All of the good snowboarders would grind it, but not the noobs. so... i wanted to try it... and when i was at the top of the hill staring down at that rail, i was SO scared... but i worked up my courage and my friend was watching, so i couldn't chicken out... so I approached the rail at a steady speed. I never knew the gap from the jump to the rail was so BIG, it was about 2-3 foot gap, and so when I ollied i didnt ollie high enough. so the rail caught my nose and I did a FACEPLANT on the rail. It hurt SO bad!!!... i never really felt like a winner before in my life... and for just this once.... I wanted to feel like.. a winner..... So i said to myself that "i can do it", then i walked up the hill and straped myself in and this time I will believe i can do it. I approached the rail at a decent speed, and i ollied as high as a possibly could! ..I felt like i was flying... I land on the rail and grinded a 50-50 and I landed it! i was SO proud of myself!!! I never really knew the power of confidence until that day.
Ever since that experience I always say to myself "That Dragon Rail Bastard", only because it reminds me of the moment when i over came my fear & even though i fell once, I tried again. and I did it :)
Forever I will remember that saying.
What inspires you to compete?
nothing inspires me more than how I inspire myself. Snowboarding really is a self progression sport. The biggest thing you need to overcome when you snowboard is confidence. Believing that you can do it and trying harder. If you believe in yourself you CAN do anything. BUT if your not your own believer, you cant progress. especially in the sport of snowboarding.
Music?
I love music. ROFL. i have a wide spread of music. I generally listen to Rock/Metal and Hip-Hop. I also listen to alot of BIZARRE music, like Barbie Girl by aqua or Locomotion by Kylie Mongue. haha. I love classic rock the most! Guns and Roses, AC/DC, Poison, The Doors, The Eagles... i can go on! no doubt i love music. hehe.

Q&A - Self Interview
How old are you?
20 years of age :)
How long have you been snowboarding?
I began snowboarding ever since i was 9 years old. I never really tried riding the park until i was about 18, and ever since its been an AMAZING experience! im hooked on snowboarding! I wanna do it until the day i die
What does snowboarding mean to you?
This is actually a really important question, but i'll try to keep this one short... snowboarding is my therapy, I never knew i would love anything as much as I love snowboarding. I snowboard so hard only because im not afraid to die ... not afraid to live... snowboarding expresses who I am, it shows who i can be and what I can overcome. No words can explain exactly how i feel about snowboarding, it's absolutely amazing
What makes you a good snowboarder?
A good snowboarder to me is someone who takes snowboarding seriously and has THE biggest time of their life when they do it. What really matters most if you love to snowboard and you would never give it up until you simply cannot do it anymore
What makes you different from all the other snowboaders?
NO ONE on this earth understands how i feel about snowboarding and skating. I've sprained my ankles and I bruised my shins and elbows and I've taken some of the biggest bails you've seen... BUT even through it all... i wouldn't trade my snowboarding/skating days for anything :)
