I have some students who are the same way with heel hooks, twisters, neck cranks, etc. I hate that stuff. Through my teaching methods and mat posture I have been able to steer my students away from those crappy moves. I never teach or use that kind of stuff in my classes. I go out of my way to kick their ass in the most gentle and respectfull way possible.
I like to treat my guys like free range chickens, yes they still get eaten but they are killed in a humane fashion.

I think Big John McCarthy is having another tournament in Feb. I have been to his last two and had a blast. The tourney is small and might not have a female division unless you can get Felicia Oh to roll. Other than that we have Pan Ams, Grapplers Quest Del Mar (San Diego), Abu Dhabi Trials, and Best of the West coming soon.
