I am an amateur athlete from NC who's still pretty new to racing triathlons, but improving rapidly. Though I did my first tri in 2005, last year was my first year of serious racing, and by mid-season I started picking up age group wins and becoming a contender for overall placing. 2008 has started out with a bang by placing 1st out of 68 in M30-34 at the White Lake Half Ironman in 4:41.
I've been a competitive runner for a couple years, with no particular distance specialty (sub-5 in the mile all the way up to sub-3hrs in the marathon). Last summer I began to develop as a cyclist through racing in a local time trail series.
In 2008 my goals include competing in the NC Triathlon Points Series and racing in my second Iron distance triathlon, Beach2Battleship.
I am currently on the Inside Out Sports Elite Running Team, and I'm seeking other sponsorship opportunities.
