Friday Night,
So after the 6 hour or so drive,my dad and I arrived at Duke City BMX. We got their around 4:45, so i didnt get any pratice. We decided that i should race, so i signed up. 3 riders in my moto, me, Amanda Browne, and a 17 year old girl. When the gate went down, i was thinking that i would take it easy and get used to the track, so thats what i did. At the first turn, i was in second and right behind the leader. I realized that the track was pretty easy, so i decided that i would try to past the leader. So on the last straight i turned on the turbos and passed her for the win. I took the over all win that night.
Saturday,
Was a different story. i had 13 girls in my group, and most of them nag riders. i took it easy first round, cause i knew i wasnt going to make it. Second round was my last chance, i was within inches of making the main. i was right behind tha Nag 1 rider and right beside the Nag 6 rider, the nag 6 got the spot just be inches. But i did good, for not being in top shape yet. i couldnt believe that i was keeping up with all the nag girls.
Sunday,
Didnt make it, but was super close again. I got stuck in the hard motos both days. I guess it just wasnt my weekend. But everyone was telling me how close i was to the Nag 1 and Nag 3 girls, so next time ill get it. I just need to train a little more, and get into shape, then ill be in front =]

Colorado racing is way different then Oregon racing. To start off, at Pikes Peak Bmx they havent even posted motos for any of the times that i have raced their. The tracks that i have been to dont have track officals, or a snack shack. Where am i supposed to get food when i hungry? And what happens when i fall down, i wait 5 mins for someone to come out and see if im okay. And no one announces at Pikes Peak either.
Talk about a change in racing.
