J.B. Saul – Driver Nighthawk RSX-S
A little about me- My real name is Jonathan Saul, I was born in Tokyo, Japan July, 5th 1987. I was a firecracker baby and have lived up to that so far. I have been the world over because of the United States Air Force, following my parents from one assignment to another. I now live in Enon, Ohio right next to Wright Patterson Air force Base where I go to Wright State University. I was real big into going fast on wheels when I was young; I raced mountain bikes when I was younger and grew into cars about age 13. We have always had a fast car in the stable here at home, mostly classic cars with big V8 motors, but we also had the Honda or Toyota sitting around going to the store and back. While growing up my sister bought a Honda Civic… I thought it was the coolest, and proceeded to drive my dad’s hatchback I was 14… legal no... fun, hell yes, I pushed that little SOHC engine to its limits on the back roads and dirt paths on the fields here. Learned to feel the car and work it as much as you can to take the next turn with the most speed. I was inspired by my father and uncles as they were old fashioned gear heads, but then I soon realized there was a import world… I was set to make a import name for myself. I learned how to drive a stick the high school parking lot as a 7th grader , questioned by the cops, let off with a ya gota learn sometime.. and a make sure he doesn’t drive home to my sister. I drove a civic as my first vehicle.. with no money and no job in high school it remained lightly modified.. and then was a victim of a cheerleader and not knowing how to drive, I was pissed and was learning a ton about diesel, so I bought a F250 Powerstroke diesel truck. The truck was a blast and with a job and money I made it into a power monster.. black smoke and chirping tires were common place. The truck couldn’t handle very well tho I tried and got it sideways a number of times. I was hit by a drunk driver in the truck later on and totaled it. Went thru some cars to get me by till I had money for a new car had a Nissan Quest van and a Crown Victoria police car. I went to spring break, came home with an Acura Integra sitting in the driveway. Dad found a deal and I paid him back half. It was an LS and hard to make power with out Vtec so I did what I could.. and found that I could be very competitive in Auto X with it. I grew with the car and then in the beginning of 2007 I bought its replacement. I purchased a 02 Acura RSX type S with a blown motor.. and towed it home from Cincinnati. Pulled the motor, and sent it off for work and built the rest here in my shop, and restored the vehicle.. by the end of June 2007 the car will be up and running.. and I will be learning to race it. I feel one with the car and I believe that you have to be in touch with the car when racing otherwise you’ll never win. As far as making a name for myself in this world…its happening, plenty of people know me already, and I am only gona get bigger.
