Millcreek Ride day! Many thanks to the Alessi's and crew for thier help (sub-frame replacement) and the 30min +2 moto was awesome to see just how Sean stacked up and kept pace for the full moto!! Excellent job Sean!!

We received very tradgic news this morning, long time friend and track owner/race promoter Dennis Akins was killed during his morning commute on his motorcycle.
Dennis provided a great positive influence on Sean and my family...we've been riding and racing on CCMX since it first opened in Dec 2004 (customer #1)..through the years of Dennis' hard work and dedication to the motocross community, he has given us all some of the best years of our lives! Memories at the track practicing, racing and having fun with our family that is motocross!

Dennis was a great man, father, husband and Christian...God's speed Dennis, we will miss you dearly!

We made the trip up to watch the final 2 days of the National Championships....saw allot of our friends from Bama and folks from all over!  The racing was excellent! Eli Tomac put down solid consistant FAST lap times and was out front....way out front!!
Sean knows he has allot of work to do to hopefully get there next year...I sure hope he can make it!

Raced at one of our local tracks Millcreek MX the week before Loretta's...was allot of fast folks there a good turnout!

Sean had a pretty good night, considering his starts in 3 motos were mid-pack...he rode solid in both classes (7-6)Youth and (7-2)Lites C. His second moto of Lites C was awesome!! Tried a different start strategy and it paid-off...3rd out of the hole and avoided the carnage behind him! The front 3 checked-out on the rest of the field all keeping pace, 2nd place rider crashed on the white-flag lap so Sean had a spot handed to him..with a 7-2 he earned 3rd overall out of a15+ gate. Was his first race on the YZ250f as well!! Awesome job!

Raced yesterday after a month off from racing, had a rough start in moto 1 of Schoolboy1, then a mechanical problem brought out the black flag for #39...broken hose clamp and lost all the anitfreeze!! Fortunately Sean got the bike off the track in time and the motor was not damaged...put on a new hose clamp, filled up with engine-ice and was back in action for Lites C!
Had the last gate pick for Lites C...but ended up pulling the holeshot from the outside on his YZ125! Colton Bates got around him early, but Sean stayed on him and made his move on the white flag lap to take the lead and the moto win!!

Rest of the day went great, good starts and strong solid finishes...brought home the overall win in both classes..2-1 in Schoolboy 1 and 1-2 in Lites C.

Awesome job and was good to see folks again!!

The spring has been real wet in the South, not much racing going on since it always seems to rain on the weekends!

Sean has been steadily growing as well and decided to move completely off of Superminis to concentrate on big bikes. We found a great deal on a 2009 YZ250F, traded in the Superminis and brought it home! He's adjusted quickly to the 4-stroke and still has the YZ125 for Schoolboy 1...taking a little summer break, but will be back in the game soon!

Sean made his local NEAT series 125cc debut today...and came out swinging!! Raced in the MX lights C class for the first time on his YZ125, earning 2 solid 2nd place finishes in each moto to take the overall win! 17 racers on the gate, 15 were 250Fs...also took 1st in both motos in the Schoolboy 1 class...Great job little-man!!!

Getting ready for the '09 season...plan on getting out to the NMA Nationals and doing some local series races in Schoolboy1 and 125C on his YZ125!

The NEAT Series overall results were finally posted!
The series began back in Feb '08 and went straight through until the end of Nov'08. The series requirement for end of the year awards was for a minimum of 14 races but with the best 18 to count for awards...so if you raced more than 18, you can knock out the bad results.

Sean started off the series with a good points lead, then was injured (broken shoulder) halfway through, but was able to work hard and come back! He finished strong and put in a solid performance finishing 2nd overall in the series!

Due to his injury and recovery time he was only able to race a total of 16 races, but still managed to acheive 11 top 5 finishes, 9 were top 3!

We had an awesome time and enjoyed the series...now it's time to relax a little, regroup and get ready for the nationals next year!

Great raceday at CCMX for round 32 of the NEAT series!

Borrowed a stock CR125 and raced it in the Schoolboy 1 class for first time and brought home the top spot on the box!! 1st in both motos!!
