Overview

How I got started

I began racing at age 13 and I have been riding motorcycles since I was 8. I started racing late but fortunately began riding with the right guys. I rode pretty frequently with the local pros and progressed fairly quickly with their help.

Goals for the Future

For 2008 I am racing the 250 A class. My goal is to race as many amateur nationals as I can including Ponca and Lorettas. I would like to earn enough points to get my Motocross endorsement and race some outdoors.

Bio

What inspires you to compete?

I really enjoy riding a motorcycle and I love the feeling of satisfaction when hard work pays off.  I like setting goals for myself and developing ways to achieve them.

Some Personal Information About Me:

I am dedicated to achieving my goals. I highly value integrity, character, and humor. I have played the guitar for almost a decade and it is one of my passions. I also have a degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.

Do you like to travel? What's your best (clean) road trip story?

Early this summer I was privileged to visit Ecuador in South America. I stayed with a friend in Quito and was able to experience the sport of motocross in a very foreign setting. I was able to see where recent phenom Martin Davalos began his quest to become a professional motocross athlete and ride his favorite tracks. However, getting to the tracks was not as easy as I had expected. Ecuador is a country with no highways, no speed limits, and zero traffic ediquette. It was a great experience ,nontheless, and I would love to go back.

Competitive Highlights

I quickly moved through the beginner and novice classes winning some local stuff in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I raced the Ponca City Nationals where I placed 9th in 125 Nov Mod in 2002. I took a year off my first year of college because I lived in the dorms. Upon returning I placed 1-1 at Mosier Valley my very first race back. I raced a handful of local Texas races with decent results in 2005.
