What inspires you to compete?
Troubled times for three years after I finished high school. I was unemployed, living at my parents and not working on a future. My Bicycle gave me back my self esteem and gave me goals to work toward. This renaissance lead to all my personal and sporting success.

Married since 1987
I`m the kid in the family since we do not have children.
Do you train? What does your schedule look like?
I train all year round, I put in thousands of miles/kilometers on my road bike. My Aerobic Fitness is the single most important aspect of my success. Over the last 8 winters I have XC skied approximately 15000 Kilometers to train my aerobic engine.
My daily schedule goes something like this:
Get out of bed 9:30-10:30am,Coffee 10:30
Training 12pm until 3:30-4pm
Work 4:45-2am
Repeat

Satisfaction when stomping 20 year olds.
