About 'Extrem Rangers'Our parent organization 'Royal Rangers' is a non-profit, youth program that works with young males between the ages of 5-18. The program provides an alternative to the negative influences found in the streets and unfortunately in many homes. The 'Royal Rangers' does this by providing a positive outlet for these young boys through outdoor activities, such as camping, sporting tournaments, and community services. This program has been so effective, that 65% of the boys that enter the program during the ages of 5-8, end up participating until they are in high school. Many of these young men later come back to the program wanting to volunteer as workers, since the program had such a profound impact on their lives. One boy stated, “The Royal Rangers gave me something to do. It also taught me how to be a man, especially during the time that my dad wasn’t around.” Now we are starting a new program called ‘Extreme Rangers’: this program is going to introduce the boys to more extreme sports & activities such as motocross ,off road riding, Paintball, Snowboarding, & Wakeboarding. Currently, the New Harvest Royal Rangers is working with 175 young men. Unfortunately some of these young men and their families are unable to partake in the new program due to a lack of financial & equipment resources. That is where the 'Extreme Rangers' program comes into play. we will have these activities available for all boys to experience on our campouts. Also will have specific campouts just for the boys that want to participate in the 'Extreme Rangers' program, with all gear & bikes supplied for them, so that they can enjoy these activities no matter what background or upbringing they may have had.
