Overview

How I got started

I started riding when I was 5 years old and started racing around 11 years old. I started riding with my dad on a 1986 Yamaha moto 4 80(quad.) What made me decide to want to race was after a weekend riding at Chatsworth. I realized that I was pretty fast and it was fun racing other kids. My first race ever was on the moto 4(no suspension) in the 90cc 4-wheeler class. I finished 4th out of about 20. That season I only raced a few races, but the following year I received a new Suzuki quad sport 80 for Christmas. That year I went on and was the District 6 champ. The following year I took 2nd. Then I moved up to an Rm 85. My first race on that I finished 2nd and overall ended up top 10 in the points. In 2005 the last point's race was on October 23, 2005. It wrapped up my season with a 4th in the PA State series, and a 4th in the Flying Dutchmen Track Points. For 2006 I moved up to a new class with a new bike. I bought a 2006 RM125 at the end of the 05' season and raced that throughout 06. I started out racing in the District 6 races and PA state races but then got tired of the and decided to join in a new series called Atlantic Grand Prix's.

Goals for the Future

Goals for 2009:
  • After a slow going year in 2008, I have been getting back into racing more and am ready to race in Open A on my new RM250.

Goals for 2007:

  • looking forward to racing alot more because I will be getting my license in March and will be able to drive to all of the races I want to go to.
  • I plan on riding the 2006 RM125 again for another season in the 200b class. As of now I am unsure of what season I want to race in but it will be either district 6, Atlantic Grand Prix, or ECEA.
  • My goal for this year is to end up top 3 in the series that I decide to race in.

My goals for 2006:

  • For 2006 I moved up to a RM 125. My goal will be to try hard and finish in the top 5 and to just go out and have fun this year and stay safe.
  • Also, to try my best and never give up.
  • To always do GOOD in school and try not to miss any races.

Bio

What inspires you to compete?

The thrill and adrenaline rush I get from when the race starts to when the checkered flag is waved. Also, knowing that I have that chance to go out and ride as hard as I can to try and finsih first.

What has been your most embarrassing moment?

For as long as I`ve been racing I`d have to say that I have never had an embarrassing moment while being on the track. I guess that?s a good thing.

Why do you like this sport?

I like this sport because it is a sport that lets you go out and either push yourself to the limits or just go cruise around. Once Dirt biking is taken up and you start racing, I don`t think it`s possible to stop. It just gives me an amazing feeling when I go out and ride. It`s almost unexplainable.

Some Personal Information About Me:

My name is Jeff Sullivan and I am a 16 year old sophmore student at Hillsborough High School. I maintain a B average in school and my main hobbies are Racing, mountain biking, and fishing.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

As of right now I do not know what I want to be when I grow up. Of course I would want to be a Pro Racer but that will be tough, so I`m just going to finish up High School and decide when I get out what my future will be and will probably be going to college.
