Q&A - Self Interview

How did you get started riding?

My dad bought me an XR 70 when I was 8 years old. At first I rode it around every now and then, but after my dad made a track with a few jumps, I literally rode the wheels off it! I moved up to a YZ 80 and then a CR 85 before buying my big bike. After getting my CRF 250 last year, I decided it was time to try racing. I started racing in May 2007.

Who do you look up to?

I look up to Ryan Dungey. He seems like a regular kid from Minnesota (where I'm from) who made it to the pro-ranks. He helped me see that with hard work and dedication you can achieve your goals.

What aspect of racing do you enjoy the most?

I like riding and racing with my buddies. I also like meeting new people at the track who enjoy motocross as much as I do.

What is your favorite track to ride on?

I haven't been to all the tracks in my area, but so far Millville is my favorite. I like it's big uphills and jumps. The track is challenging, but fun at the same time.

What are your racing goals for the future?

Next season, I plan to race as much as I can and finish inside the top 10 in 125C points. After that, I hope to move up to the B class.
