Well, if you can believe it, this was my first race of the year!  I had only been on my bike on one occasion since last October!  To top that off, I missed practice with a hole in my rear tire tube.

Anyway, I used the occasion to try to get my legs back under me and get comfortable with the new suspension on my bike.  I feel like I rode pretty well considering.  I went down in the second moto, but all-in-all I was pleased with the way that I rode.

It sure was a beautiful day at High Point.  You couldn't have asked for better weather.  Finally!!

OK, I'm tired of the cold.  I'm tired of the wet.  I'm very tired of snow and ice!!!  I WANNA RIDE!!!!!!!!!

April 6, 2007  -   It's friggin' snowing out and I still haven't gotten to race!!  We showed up to race at Bean's Bike Park last Sunday and they called off the race!  At least I was able to practice there the day before and I got some bike time.

Tomorro there's a race at Steel City, which I like a lot, but it's going to be more of the same - 30's and snow!  I don't think I'm up for that.  Sunday is a race at Western Reserve in District 12, but again, 30's and snow.  I'm sick of the cold weather!!

The first four (4) races of the year have been cancelled due to the weather!!  Well, yesterday was my first opportunity to race this year and the plan was to go to Crow Canyon in District 12 (Ohio).  The last thing that was needed on my bike was new linkage bearings and we had a whole lot of trouble getting the old bearings and bearing races out of the linkage!!!  Did not get finished in time, so I didn't get to race.

I hope to get on a track at least two days this week for practice.  This Sunday I will either be racing at R&D Raceway in District 5 or at Bean's Bike Park in District 12.

It's SO COLD.  I can't wait to get back to racing!  I'm looking forward to racing at a lot of new tracks this year in AMA's District 12.  District 5 is imploding!

My bike's currently being worked on to have it ready for racing.  I'll have all my new sponsor's stuff on it and all new custom graphics.  It should look pretty sweet.
