Q&A - Self Interview

Who are your sponsors?

I am sponsored by VenomATV at venomatv.com, Instigator Racing at instigatorracing.com, Panolin Oil, and MotoXsupport. I buy my machines from Clarion Cycles and my budget is supported by work...Family Behavioral Resources.

Q&A - Personal

What inspires you to compete?

There's nothing like being a girl in a tough sport and proving yourself and pushing yourself to the limits...BRAAAP! I love the feeling of manipulating the quad at a high speed, strengthening my body through riding technique, listening to the engine when shifting, and focusing on nothing but me and the quad.

What has been your most embarrassing moment?

Ha...I have two on the track...one I forgot to put my goggles on and got the yellow flag...two, my crew chief/husband forgot to put gas in my quad and I had to coast through the finish line of nationals!

Some Personal Information About Me:

I'm 26 years old. I grew up on a horse farm and met my husband as a teenager. He taught me everything I know about motorsports. I started riding in woods at 24 and started competing at 25. I'm on a husband/wife race team of Raptors! I'm an animal lover with six pets as my kids and I went to school for psychology. I work with children who have autism teaching them how to socialize and communicate with others. I also went to school for interior design and I love artwork, craftsmanship, painting, drawing. I once was a carpenter and look to become a designer. I am only 4'10" tall and weigh 92 pounds...hence, the reason why I have a 350 and not a 450...hehe.

Describe your style...

Push it...push it...push it. Because I'm a very small girl and running a 350 against built 450's...I have to push harder than everyone else. I would have to say for me it would be consistency, endurance, and determination to the finish line.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

Hah...it's called killing the grass in my back yard! We go trail riding every once in a while with mostly guys and I try to pretend I'm on the track. My husband has taught me everything I know from when I first started pushing me to go down that hill that I cried I was so afraid of to teaching me to go faster and faster. We race every Sunday at a local circle track for points with top guys. These guys run pro-am class at nationals. We also do some national races where I race with pro girls. I plan to do some local drag races and a couple hare scrambles/ grand prix races.
