What a weekend. I had j5 Far West Championships on thursday and fri and Sat. They were alot of fun. I didn't win but I got two podiums at 3rd place and a fourth place in slalom. The on satirday after my super g race, I drove to Sacramento to fly to denver to go to USASA Natioonals. I was bummed that I couldn't get my trophy but I saw Stacey Cook (she's a USA Ski team racer who's reeeeeaaaaallllly good). She got it fo me and gave it to my mom. We finally got to Copper mountain at 3 iin themorning and I had to wake up at 6:30. I saw Abby and met Summer in person. She's a good skier like Abby and me. We did our two halfpipe runs and were done beofre breakfast. I won and Abby got third. I thought Summer should have got a medal to because she had some great turns in the air. Later we went skiing with my dad and Abbys dad but now I just want to sleep. Tomorrow is Slopestyle!

I got my invites to Nationals today for halfpipe, skiercross and slopestyle. I can't wait. It's going to be so much fun. I'm glad that I'll know some people there this year like Abby and I'm looking forward to meeting Summer. I saw that she signed up and is ready to go. It's going to be a busy two weeks over spring but I'm going to love every minute of it.

Today, I got my first podium in a big race. There were over 60 girls and I got 3rd. Yesterday, I was charging on my second run and fell half way down. I was really pushing for second but it didn't happen. Today, I was kind of nervous for my first run. I didn't want to fall again and I kind of held back a little. I was eighth after the first run but I tried my hardest, hit a lot of gates and had a great second run. My friend Steph came in second and my other friend Evan came in second for the J5 boys. The Snow Summit Race team had a great day and showed the Mammoth and Tahoe kids that Southern Cal kids can compete too!
