My name is Race Liberante, I was born in October of 1994. I am 14 years old and a freshman at Quartz Hill High School with a grade point of 3.0. High School is really fun and big.
For Christmas in 1998, my parents got me a Kid Kart. Dad would take me out to the kart track to practice. A couple months later I was racing in the Kid Kart class at 4 1/2. I won my first race just before I turned 6.
I won my first Championship at 7 years old.
I have won races and championships in every karting class that I have raced in.
Traveled the South Western states racing karts since I was 6.
My dad has taught me that if you want to win, it all starts in the shop. Races are won with good preparation of the equipment. I have learned that by helping my Dad in the shop.
My Dad is Brian Liberante of Pro Racing Specialties. He is a driving coach and race prep shop for racing karts and cars. He has worked with some great drivers that have gone on to win Championships in all types of racing and one of them, Buddy Rice, even won the Indy 500. How cool is that!
In 2008, I received my INEX license to drive Legends Car, so I could learn how to race on ovals. I will be competing in the SPEED TRUCK CHALLENGE in a full size spec race truck in 2009.
My Dad is teaching me how to set up the Legends Car and the Speed Truck, so I can understand how it works and what an adjustment to the car feels like on the track.
In 2009, I am going to be driving in different classes to continue the learning process.
In 2010, I hope to contend for a Speed Truck Challenge Championship.
