Overview

How I got started

My dad got me started racing when I was four years old on a 1987 pw 50. I started racing in 1990-1991. Started racing then and have been hooked ever since.

Goals for the Future

I am wanting to try and make a run at the the Oklahoma State Championship series this year. I also would like to race in the Oklahoma Cross Country Racing Association series this year.

What inspires you to compete?

I love riding and a challenge. Riding is what I live for; I mean I have got the bug real bad. My dad used to be my inspiration, but anymore the sheer love of the sport is what really drives me.

Why do you like this sport?

Motocross and riding is just that fun, when you get out on that bike you can forget about every day life, you can let go of all your worries, and you can focus on two things winning and having fun. Having fun in this sport is what its all about.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I do workouts 3-4 times a week, and I am a full time worker and student. I am attending nursing school 4 days out of the week and work the other three. That does not leave me much time to race and compete. I try to practice on tuesday nights at the local race track and race on unusual weekend when I can get off of work.
