A new season is coming. To say I'm excited about the new 2008 season is an understatement. I've now begun the process of over-hauling my race bike and it looks like a few changes are in store!

From my good friends at Hayes Bicycle Group (Hayes Disc Brakes, Wheelsmith spokes, Sun-Ringle, Answer, and Manitou) I'll be sporting the 2008 MRD Minute on the front, some new Charger wheel sets will hold the rubber to the ground, and providing the stopping power will be a pair of sick white Stroker Trails with the new for 2008 5" rear rotor!

As soon as these products are on the Yeti, I'll throw down with some pics and reviews. It's looking really good so far and the all new MRD forks, wheels, and brakes will bring my Yeti down into the sub 28 pound range. That's perfection my friends.

From 661/Sunline/Royal Racing a new oversized V1 bar and stem combo sure to blow your mind and chilling on the backside a new V1 saddle in white and black with a bit of red piping for you to dig on.

With that, I've also re-moved the old worn sponsors decals from the frame, took the old wax off, and have re-buffed the 4X into a shine so slick, flies break their legs just landing on the tubes.

I'll have the new decals on their shortly and the bike should be good to go by the end of the year for race season.

Also, Silverback Racing, my race team, is currently putting together a plan to build a mountain cross track of national standards in the Boothill Canyon area of Boulder City, Nevada. The plans are nearly done. If things go well, the track will be ridable by the end of the year!

Keep you eye right here for more details!
