Team XCR came about in December of 2004. Team Owners Colin and Jackie Eck deceided to give to kids the best way they knew how. Hence Team XCR was formed. Colin a.k.a-CJ is a graduate of MMI and spent 5yrs in the Marines serving his country. Jackie, he met in California while stationed there in the service. Together for the past 6yrs they have work towards this program and at times not even knowing what was going to happen or how they would end up where they are now. In December 2004 they came about with the idea to promote education in our kids of motocross. Just as schools sponsored sports (i.e. football, baseball, soccer etc...) they sponsor Local MX riders. Requesting well maintained grades and positive attitudes! Giving to our young riders of tomorrow. They also have a local service and repair shop in New Bern, N.C. which sells parts at the race tracks and CJ himself performs tire changes trackside. If you ever see in big letters XCR at a race stop by and say hi, they really appreciate the friendships of motocross.
