Q&A - Competition

How did you get started?

My dad bought me a KX125 when I was 11 and I could not touch the ground. I had to stand on a picnic table seat to get started and from there I knew there was nothing I could not accomplish.

List your competitive highlights:

I started racing in the late '80s with Guy Cooper. I raced a local Oklahoma Series for 3 years placing 8,8,6 for the season during those years. I have been racing and riding as much as I can since joining the Army.

What are you planning for next season?

I plan to get back into shape after my recent deployment to Iraq. Being competetive on the local scene in Kansas and staying healthy.

What has been your biggest accomplishment?

Being the best dad I can be and supporting my kids in all they do. My 3 kids are the best and they deserve the best. I also have a successful 16 year career in the Army.
