Alright so why is Wade Simmons my hero? Well after looking through a bike mag there was an interestingly titled article called 7 reasons why wade simmons can do no wrong. In it they cite specific cases and things he does. First is a quote, "i love how varied mountain biking is, in any condition or terrain you could have the best ride of your life." thats just awesome and true at the same time. any ride could be your best one. It also talks about how humble he is. Guided tours and clinics. I can't tell people enough about bikes and its good to see that the pros are motivated to get people into it because they too love it so much that they take every opportunity to promote it. I also liked how it talked of how he stuck with his sponsors. To be thats what its about. You made a bond with a certain product you believe in and you ride it. For a really long time. At the end of the day i think i have alot in common with the dude attitude wise, def not skill. Its about getting out and riding and getting others to join in and realize what they have missed out on. No matter what style there is something for everyone which is awesome.
