I am a 19 year old boy from Norway, I've been riding for about 5-6years. I started riding my dad's Sportsman when I was 12 years old, but I soon got tired of it and we bought a Honda 250ex, and I started riding at the local motocross track.
When i was 14 (2004) I borrowed a Polaris Predator, and when the Polaris people saw me ride, they told me that I just had to continue to ride a Polaris, and my first sponsor deal was settled. But in 2005 I broke both my arms when I came a bit too short on a 15m(around 50 feet) tabletop and new rules decided that I was no longer old enough to ride the Predator. I didn't have enough money to buy a smaller atv, so I was forced to take a year away from racing.
In 2006 I ended my sponsorship with Polaris (VERY long waiting time on parts) and bought a Suzuki LT-R450.
In 2007, I raced a couple of races in Denmark, and brought home some good results from every race there, and I got a good offer from Suzuki(Cross Senteret Snellingen) for the 2008 season..
But the 2008 season wasn't that great afterall.. I started with a broken collar bone, some broken ribs, and a concussion, so I missed the first races of the season. When I got back on the bike, I hurt my leg badly and was away from the bike, and training for about 13weeks, and with alot of bike trouble on top of that, I got a bit "fed up" and decided to take a break, to get the economy and shape back where it should be..
After a couple of months training of the bike, I was back on the bike again. 2009 I raced in the "Elite" class here in Norway, and Class6 in Denmark (the "best" classes in both countries), it has been a great "getting back" season so far with alot of good results in most races. Thanks to all my 2009 sponsors, especially AtvMotor (KTM), without your help it would be impossible for me to continue racing.
