Nicks Resume
NAME: Nicholas Andrew Toppins D.O.B.: 07/05/96 AGE: 11 CLASS: 85cc jr / 0-150cc pit bike Bikes: Yamaha YZ 85 / Suzuki DRZ 110 Accomplishments: 2006: Kentucky state fair race 2nd place overall (65cc) 2006/2007 Arena cross winter series: 2007: Nick also won the youth day triathlon which consist of a motocross, a harescramble and an obstacle course. Currently Nick is racing the 2007/2008 winter series championship (arena cross) after 3 rounds and six races in the 85cc jr class nick has won every moto and is currently got a 57 point lead over 2nd place… About Nick: Nick is currently in the 6th grade at East Elementary school with an A-B average; Nick has become somewhat of a celebrity at his school and has formed a motocross team, his team currently consists of 4 riders and the support of the school and parents, he is a very hard worker and trains very hard while keeping his school work as his #1 priority. Nick started riding for fun at 3 yrs old. Nick has been racing since he was 7 years old; he has been very successful from his XR-50 and KX-65 to current YZ-85 and DRZ-110… Plans for the future: At the moment we are going to race the entire series at Henderson’s arena cross and plan to pick up a few races at the Toyota series and in January we plan on racing the Big Sandy Super Center event in Huntington WV. district 11 champion 85cc jr class, with 6 wins and 2 2nds in the series/ he raced 4 times at Bar 2 Bar ( home of the Kentucky state championship) with 4 wins and 2 over-alls (this includes 85cc sr class) also with 4 fair series races 3 of which were wins and 1 2nd place finish. 3rd place in the 85cc open/5th place in the 85cc jr class, he missed 6 races and had numerous top 3 finishes 65cc district 11 3rd in championship "thunder in the hills Championship" with consistent 2nd and 3rd place finishes.
