Q&A - Competition
How did you get started?
Well I've always wanted to ride since I was a little boy! My parents wanted me to race bmx for a few years before I started motocross. I ended up loveing it and racing until I was 14. I got a 2003 kx85 when I was 11. I never raced but rode every now and then at a couple local tracks. In 2006 I got a 2001 Yz125. I started going to local races and it just progressed from there. I am now currently on a 2007 Kx250f and loving every minute of it!
List your competitive highlights:
I raced the first three rounds of the 2007 Bartow series and holeshoted and won every race. I have done a few FTR Harescramble and have always made atleast top 11 out of 30 or more riders. I have hole shot 3 of four of my harescramble races. Including my first one. Also I raced at Sunshine motorcross in adv. Int. and holeshotted and won.
What are you planning for next season?
For 2008 I will be racing the Florida Winter Ams, Mini National Olympics, and trying to make it to Lorretta Lynns all in the 125b stock and mod classes.
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
Everytime I ride I learn something new and become a better rider. I can name a huge race I've won yet or anything like that but, whenever I do something to progress it is an accomplishment for me becuase it will all come together when it really matters

What do you want to be when you grow up?
When I grow up I want to become a professional motocross racer! But as we all know it is hard to make it there. After I graduate I will attend the fire academy and then Motorcycle Mechanics Institute (MMI). But even So I will give it my all and every bit of energy I have to try to complete my dream!
Why do you compete?
Well I've done many things raced bmx, played football, and all those types of sports and so far nothing gives me the feeling I get while racing. I just love to ride and knowing when I win I have accomplished alot. everythiong I do out on the track is me and only I can control how I do. I thribe on the intensity of being in a full gated moto and battle bar to bar for a hole shot or a last lap sprint to the finish. I guess its alot of things why I compete But Mostly becuase I Love it!
Describe your style...
Well my training regement as of now, while I'm is school isn't the greatest. but I do wake up every morning at 5 in the morning. I run 4 miles, then when I get back I do some bench press with medium weight and as many reps as I can do per set. Also I work out my triceps, abs, and my back. I only get to ride 2 times a week right now. I ride one at my friends and my private track and once during the weekend. Once summer starts I will be starting homeschool. I will be doing the same routine except practicing 3 times during the week do 3 or 4 45 min. motos each time, and then racing on the weekends.
Describe your style...
I am a decent rider. I dont really like to say I'm that good because there is always someone out there who is could be faster and a challenge. Also I would rather let my riding do the talking for me. I ride loose and let it hang out there. People sometimes say I look out of control but I'm not thats just my style. I like to scrub and throw whips. I'm no that great at whips but pretty decent at scrubbing. I am always trying to go as fast as I possibly can. I have been working alot on being very consistent and keeping my cool when in the pack. I know that there can always be improvement and I am working on everything i possibly can to make me better.
