2003 Ramsey raced in the AMA 250cc U.S. Motocross Championship, his best overall results were eighth-place at Southwick, Mass., and Budds Creek, Md. Raced with American Honda team.
2002 Ramsey won the AMA 250cc Supercross race at Pontiac, Mich., and took the series podium finish at Houston, Texas.

2001 Ramsey won the Atlanta and Pontiac, Michigan, rounds of the AMA 125cc East Region Supercross series, took three additional podium finishes, and ended the season as runner-up for the series championship. He entered the AMA 250cc Supercross series, best result was eighth-place at the Jan. 20, Anaheim, Calif. round. Ramsey’s best result in the AMA 125cc motocross series was third-place overall at Southwick. Raced with Yamaha of Troy team.
2000 Raced a limited AMA 125cc Eastern Region Supercross season, best results were sixth-place at Indianapolis and Joliet, Ill. He just missed the podium in the AMA Chevy Trucks 125cc U.S. Motocross Championship, with fourth-place overall finishes at Washougal, Washington and Millville, Minnesota. Raced with Splitfire Kawasaki team.
1999 Ramsey won his first AMA professional championship, taking five wins and two additional podium finishes in the eight-race 125cc Western Region Supercross Series... He took third-place overall at the New Berlin, N.Y., round of the AMA 125cc Motocross Nationals, his best result in that series... Rode for Pro Circuit Splitfire Kawasaki.
1998 Took 125cc Western Region Supercross podium finishes at San Diego, Calif., and Dallas... finished outside the series top-ten just once... Best 125cc Mazda Truck Motocross Nationals finish was fourth-place overall at Delmont, Pa. Had four more overall top-10 finishes. Rode for Pro Circuit Kawasaki.
