Raced in madera California today it was a two race day.
I raced in the double race in the am and had to race against a 9 X and another 8 novice.
all three motos i was trying to pull the X out of the gate. It was a task that i knew would only make me faster.
i was able to get all 2nds in the motos. 9X Me then the other 8N.
we got to go to my dad's work after and get on the M1A1 Tank and get a ride. We went back to Madtown BMX for the night race which was a Quad Race and i also raced the open class 7 and under, 8 9. I pulled the same on my class race 2nd against the 9 X and the other 8N. Then in Open i raced a 7x, 8 and 9 Rook. I had the 7x beat until the last obstacle. I got squirly and almost wrecked. ended up with 2nd then had gate 8 and pulled a 3rd then a 2nd. I made my main which combined my open with a 9X and the same 7x. in the main i drew gate 1. the 7x drew gate 2 and the 9 x drew gate 6. the 9 x pulled out and never saw him after the first turn. the 7x tried to pass me the whole round but failed. in my open main i got a 2nd against a 9x and 7x and several rookies.
See you at the track.

Raced at X Roads BMX in Lucerne Valley
Day 1 Qualifier,
Moto races i held my line all day and pulled 2nd's in every Moto then pulled a 2nd in the main.
Day 2 Qualifier
I wasnt having a good morning and found out my day was going to be tough.
Moto Races race 1 i pulled a 4th after i crashed trying to take 3rd, Race 2 i pulled a 1st place after i saw that if i didnt pick it up i wasnt going to move to the main. Race 3 I had another outside gate and was trying to take 2nd when the rider crashed and i couldnt move out of the way in time and crashed. 4th rode around us and i got up and crossed the line in 3rd to make my main.
My main event i was poised for good things, Gate one, short straight and when the gate dropped i hit the gate and lost all momentum. I ended up pulling a 3rd.
Sunday wasnt my day.
Next race Taft, Ca State Qualifier at Monster BMX Fathers day weekend.
Hope to have fun and replace some of those rookie points from early on in the yr.

Oh the track was down hill and rough. really wasnt meant for a fun weekend. Day 1 was rained out and got pushed to Day 2. So sunday started with Day 1 racing then when we were finished with all of the awards for day 1 we started day 2 racing. both were two moto transfer w/ mains as necessary. it made for a long day.
I was exhausted by the end of the day. but it was fun and glad we did it. all and all ha ha we wont be doing it again next year.
I will be moving up to novice at my next race.

We went to the local track today and I started the day rolling the track. then after a few laps i went to jumping and manualing. I ended up having to race a 9 rookie and pulled him out of the gate and hit the holeshot never looking back all three moto's.
My dad was watching me and was telling me that i am doing stuff on the bike he never thought he would see me do. I am starting to work with older and faster kids at the track so i can get faster.
SEA OTTER CLASSIC is coming up next weekend and i have to have my game sharp if i want to sweep it and move to novice for the taft regionals.
see you at the track.

I raced sunday night in Madera, CA to get a feel for the track prior to racing in the State qualifier this coming up weekend.
I raced against two 9 Rookie riders and got the hole shot on every moto race. After the hole shot i maintained my lead to get a 1st place in all motos and first place over all.
my dad told me that i need 4 more move up points to make the switch to Novice. I cant wait to move up and race with the novice class.
See you at the track
