Some Personal Information About Me:
My name is Nicholas Lane. I have been racing since 2004. For the 2008 MX season I am riding the 250 and 450 B classes and Schoolboy classes. I made it to Loretta's for the first time in 2007 in the Motocross C class. Also I made it to the Amateur AX World Finals, I was the East Region 85 12-15 Champion. I won the Delaware State Championship in the 450 C class. I am planning on having another great season this year and i hope your company will help me and be apart of my race program. I will represent your company on and off the track in a positive manner, with apparel, stickers, and logos on my jerseys etc.
Why do you compete?
I compete because i want to be a champion. I love going out racing and coming back home knowing that i rode to the very best abilities. I push myself to new limits every race. My dream is to become a pro MX rider.
Do you train? What does your schedule look like?
I train Monday-Friday. I live/train at RTF in ALbama. Riding everyday moto's, sprints, and turn track. After riding I go to the gym doing various upper and lower body work outs. Cardio is a huge part of my work out.
What inspires you to compete?
The speed and the heights inspire me to compete. This sport gives me a serious adrenaline rush before i even get on the track. I love going fast and jump huge jumps

How did you get started?
I got started racing in 2003 on my RM65. But at the beginning of the 2004 season is when i actually started getting serious and racing a lot. Towards the end of that season is when i started to travel to a lot of the races.
List your competitive highlights:
In 2006 at 13 years old i got my 07 RMZ 250f 2 weeks before Mini O's. I only rode it 2 times before i went to Florida. My first race on it there i pulled holeshot in my qualifiar in SX, in the main i got an 11th overall.
I qualified for Loretta's for the first time in 2007 in the MX C class. I qualified for the Amateur AX World Finals in 2007. Also i qualified for 3 SX mains in 2007 at Mini O's. (I got hurt in MX)
What are you planning for next season?
For 2008 I am planning to finish out the year strong in the B classes an Schoolboy classes at Mini O's. In 2009 I am racing all of the amateur nationals in B classes and schoolboy. ALso I am going to do the Canadian National Series.
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
My biggest accomplishment is qualifying fr Loretta's. In 2007 that was my first year ever making it to a regional. My first year making it to regionals I made it to Loretta's. At regionals in Ohio i got second place going 2-1-3. At Loretta's i got 17, going 21-15-21. Its not what i wanted but all i can do is put my head down and charge to better this year.
