Me

Music?

My favorite type of music is country and rock. I mostly listen to country though. My favorite bands are Rascal Flatts, Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney, and Brad Pasliey.

What inspires you to compete?

What inspired me to race was seeing Danica Patrick lead the Indianapolis 500 a couple of years ago. When I saw that I realized that girls are just as good as the guys in racing.

Why do you like this sport?

I like this sport because I love being able to drive fast and being able to control the car when I don't even have my drivers lisences yet. I like being able to do something that most kids my age can't.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

When I grow up I want to be a race car driver in NASCAR. If I don;t race I want to have a job that is invovled in racing like being one of the CEOs of a track.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I don't train a lot. We usually go once a month to train during the week. My schedule durning race season is very busy. I go to school all day then I come home try to do as much homework as I can then go out and work on the car till 10:00 then go and finish my homework. I do that every day and then on thursday we have to go to San Francisco to our friends race shop to get the car set up and scaled. Then on friday we load everything up for racing on Saturday. Then we leave really early saturday to go racing and get home at like 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning. Then we get up early the next morning and go pit crew for another race car. Racing takes up all of my time but I wouldn't give it up for anything.

Racing Questions

How did you get started?

I have grown up around racing my whole life because my Dad used to race and he now pit crews for a team. For the past 3 years I have been going with my Dad to the track. After a year of going out to the track I desided that I was going to try racing. One day out at the track we saw these cars that looked like mini NASCARs. We went over to talk to some of the drivers and their parents. They said that these cars were really safe because they have all the safety equiptment. After that we did a lot of thinking and desided that we were going to race. A month before racing season started we bought the car. Then we had to work on it a lot. After the first time of being on the track I knew that choosing to race was the right desion.

List your competitive highlights

- I was the first rookie to be released out of the B-main to go race with the vetrens. - Going to Roseburg, Orgen to race the same day as the NASCAR West Serise drivers at the Bi- Mart Firecracker 150

What are you planning for next season?

Next season I will be moving up to a bigger car which is called a Baby Grand which is 2/3 the size of a real NASCAR car. Will be have to start all over as a rookie again. We will be racing at All American Speedway and Madera Speedway.

What has been your biggest accomplishment?

The biggest accomplishment was coming home every weekend with the car in one piece. Even though we have spun out a few times.
