Hi, I'm Megan Edwards from Boise, Idaho. I've been skiing since I was three. My mom and dad started me as a Mogul Mouse at Bogus Basin and when I grew up (age 8) I became a ski racer for Bogus Basin Ski Race Alliance. I've been racing for 4 years now, and last year I started winning. I've placed 1 st, 2nd or 3rd in most of my GS, SL, and Super G the past two years. In 2008 I took up Skier Cross and I am currently ranked nationally in the 11 to 15 year old girls. I got an invite to Nationals March 2008 and it was really fun meeting and racing with girls from all around the country. I made some new friends and hope we all make Nationals for 2009 so I can race with them again. I like going fast and catching air. Skier Cross is totally awesome. Except when you wreck and break your collarbone like I did in my second race last year. I'm really excited, a bit intimidated--and humbled that I made it so far last year. This year is going to be really fun! Bring on the snow!!!
Daron Rahlves and Opheile David are my heroes.
