Hi my name is Danny Mattox.I have been racing bmx for about 2 years!before I started I never even knew about bmx racing!One of my friends told me about it and i thought it was preety cool.so i went to a local bike shop nearby my house.I asked the owner about the racing and if there was any local tracks.and he told me!Well the first time i went out there I just watched and seen how everything was done.Well after that i went to 1 beginers training session,and learned how to work the track.then the same weekend i went to do my first race,I had a total of 8 riders in the gate.I took first at the main.that same night my dad promised me a new bike when ever I won my first race!And he was so mad and happy at the same time.that same night to i got sponsored by fetish cycles.after that race i had the confidence to race everyone else,And the first national i went to was at my home track.(Blackmountain bmx) I took 1st at that race against 23 other riders total.I was a 14 inter then.then after a while I beoke my arm trying the pro section.it didn't go to well.but just after 3 weeks even with the cast on,I still raced and won!when i got the cast off i felt free again.6 months after training and local races i started  doing new things without noticing.We had the tucson national coming up and we went to it and i took 1st again. 2 months after the tuscon national my 1400$ race bike got stolen out of my friends garage!so i got a new bike and the same night i got that bike i crashed I had a fractured skull!with post concusive syndrome.for a while.And now im back on my bike riding as full as ever.
