Why do you like this sport?
I got my first bike in 2005 and tried motocross and it wasnt for me. I just recently started racing offroad back in 2006 and you cant beat the adrenaline rush you get out of racing offroad. The challenges that offroad racing present you cant find in any other sport. I am a enduro and harescramble racer.

Why do you compete?
Off road motorcycle racing is one of the worlds most dangerous extreme sports. It takes a different type of person to attempt this sport. A racer has to be fearless and make split second decisions under sever conditions that many other athletes are never subjected to. For examble dust, mud, trees, rocks, roots, extreme weather, hills, and many other obstacles. A motorcycle racer puts his or her body through brutal endurance challenges every race pegging their heart rate in the upper 170's to 180's for 2-3 hours of nonstop racing. Imagine sitting at the starting line on a motorcycle waiting for the flag to drop to start the race. The flag drops and you take off and dust is flying everywhere and rocks are bouncing off of your gear and bike. You are surrounded by motorcycles on both sides in front of you and behind you are all charging for the first turn. Your heart is pounding and yoru adrenaline has kicked in and you lean the bike over and make the first turn and head into the trail. And that is just the beginning of a off road motorcycle race

How did you get started?
My dad loves riding and racing motorcycles and thats who got me into this sport.
List your competitive highlights:
Getting out and just racing is a highlight in my eyes.
What are you planning for next season?
I am going to race these series for 2009! SORCS, SETRA, RIDGE RACER WINTER OFFROAD SERIES, SERA, OMA, and MIDSOUTH.
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
Buying a KTM 250 and getting used to it.

Your track is top notch A+ the small rocks keep you on your toes, good ruts, good single track. I think that oak tree my helmet clipped got the best of me had to down about 4 ibprohens last night. |
