I have just finished the third round in this series.  This is the first series for the year and is showing to be very competitive so far.  I am new to the novice class and has shown with the beggining of the series which opened in Hanford.  I have been concentrating on getting better starts since that first race.  The second race in La Grange was a first as well.  The track was awsome.  I did not have a great jump on the start as I planned.  Once out on the track I did have to push to move up from back of the pack though.  I felt very comfortable on the track as well as with my bike.  This last weekend was at Tulare and my starts are coming along with every race.  I was sitting in third position out of the gate through out the first lap.  Once we completed the first lap a rider went down in front of me I picked up my bike and was able to finish the race.  I missed first division by one place.  I went ahead and raced the second division and placed in the top five.  This week we will be at my favorite track at Madera.  I hope to get a great start and make the first division.  My goal for this series is to progress with every race.

This weekend in Star West was great. I practiced Saturday and raced Sunday we didn’t camp at the track we camped at the lake with the Perettos. We went swimming and the water was freezing. In the morning we went back to the track so I could race. I raced 250 and 125 beginner. The first race was the 250. I got the hole shot and on the second lap I fell. I got up fast and still won. The second race was the 125. I came out the gate pinned going no where. I new it was the clutch. It had went out. I was 5th out the gate and stayed in 5th the hole race. The next race was the 250. I got the hole shot. I stayed in first the whole race and on the last lap I fell staled and still won. The last race was the 125. I got 3rd out of the gate. I passed the second place rider on the inside and stayed in second the whole race. In the 125 I got 2nd and in the 250 I got 1st. My dad will be going to the boat on a det and I will be going out to Victorville with my Mom. I will be relying on my mom for the rest of the series because my dad will be out on det for the rest of the series. I will finish this series out with the help of my mom and my sponsors who I rely on to get me to the finish line.

I am currently racing the Trans-Cal national South. This is a new and exciting national. Up until now I was pretty much racing only local races with CMA on a weekly basis. I am still racing weekly with the exception of the traveling that is taking me to some of the best racing tracks in southern California. My first race in this national was Glenn Helen. This was a great experience racing on an outdoor national track. I had pretty good starts but could not keep from dumping my bike all weekend. I was not the only one having a great weekend. Mike Allesi had two flat tires in one moto.
I might have not finished on top but the experience I took home was priceless. My second race took me to Anza, Ca. This track was pretty much like Glenn Helen. I raced two classes. 125 beg and 250 beg. I took the holeshot in both motos of the 125 class and the first moto of the 250 class. I ended up with a 3rd overall in the 125. I was looking for a perfect day in holeshots when the second moto of the 250 started. The gate dropped and I was pinched in and taken out by a hay bale. It took me quite a while to stand the bike up and get it started. I went ahead and finished the race to end the day off. I am looking forward to Starwest this weekend for round three.

This weekend was great. I was second out of the gate behind rider 805. He lead me until we got to the woops and I passed him and pulled away. The second race was a harder race. It was 805 myself and 106 in that order. It stayed that way until the last lap. As we were coming out of the turn I had the outside, 106 had the inside, and we were even but I had the outside so I went as fast as I could and moved over and shut the door. Then we went into the woops and I passed 805 and pulled away a from both riders and took the over all first. I finished up the series 4 points behind first. I finally took a first in both motos so I was very happy with my progress. My sponsors had plenty to do with that. Just knowing that I have my family along with sponsors like Renthal, Motorex, and ASV to back me pumped me up for the race. I plan on making a trip out to Salinas Sports Complex this next weekend to participate in the Bounty Hunter.

This saturday I raced in Hanford. I was second out of the gate on the first race behind 805. When we were about to go into the woops. I took the inside. I was about to make the pass when I dumped it. Luckly it was in neutral. I huried to pick it up as everyone passed. I was left in dead last as I got back on my bike. I tried the best I could and made my way around some riders. My dad let me know I had made my way back into 5th place. I passed two guys through the woops and finished up in third.
The second race had the same start as the first. 805 and myself pulled away from the pack. I was behind him until we went into the woops. I took the inside going in the woops. I practiced my woops over and over during Wednesday practice. I will continue to practice woops for the future as I know it played an important role in this race. I went on to pass him through the woops. I continued to pull away for the first place finish. I took an over all second place.

The Lemoore Boy`s had fun in Porterville 4th of July weekend. Racer X labeled the group with that name in one of their articles they did on Castillo Ranch. I teamed up with Steven Perreto. Lt Dan teamed up with Michael Perreto. Steve and I took first in the team race with Lt Dan and Michael taking 3rd. The team race consisted of mainly police, firefighters, emt, military, and govt employees who had a blast enjoying the weekend with the families out in Porterville, Ca. at the OHV park.
