This is me, Austin Madigan. I'm 8 years old and love to ride dirt bikes. During the next couple months I am going to be training hard with Jim Gibson, and trying to move from a beginner to a novice and eventually to an expert. I know that for many riders the goal is to go out and win as many races as they can, but I am going to step back a bit and focus on my skills. I will be competing in a small town series through the end of the year and a pit bike series.
Originally my goals were to go to Ponca and Loretta's over the next 2 years but that has changed. I believe that being the best rider out there means focusing on technique. I will be still be riding 20 plus hours a week, and visiting different tracks to experience more technical situations.
