2009 Season Goals:
It's a return to the Mountain Bike racing. Plan to compete in 4X, DS, and DH gravity events in the upcoming Mountain States Cup series. New bikes to race this season!
Competed at the USA Cycling BMX National Championships in Desoto, TX in March 2009 and finished in 5th place. I qualify this season for the UCI World Challenge Championships in July 2009 but due to limited time availability and race plans this summer, I will not travel to Australia for the WC event.
For BMX Racing-- I'm competing at Grand Valley BMX, Olathe BMX, and Montrose BMX along the Colorado Western Slope. Great tracks. Riding in Intermediate Class (36&Older) and Cruiser (41-45). Finished 2008 in 1st place for Cruiser and 9th place for Class ABA rankings for the Western Colorado District CO01. Finished 2007 in 15th place for Cruiser and 78th place for Class ABA rankings for the Western Colorado District CO01.
For 2008, I finished as Colorado District 01 #1 in Boys Cruiser, broke the 10,000 ABA points milestone for the season, and get to run the #1 District plate for the 2009 season. In Boys Class, I'm in the top 10 for Colorado District 01. With my 4th place finish at the Desoto TX SuperNationals- USAC National Championships in Cruiser, I qualified to compete at the UCI BMX World Challenge Championships, in Taiyuan, China at the end of May. I raced in China and that has to be the highlight of my bike racing career, what an opportunity. I didn't make it out of qualifying in either class, but got great experience on a World Level track!!
