Riding his 2007 Kawasaki 450, Logan got a great start in his first moto.! He was 3rd in the first turn and finished 18th! The second moto was the first class on the track for the day and it was muuuddy! He was 5th in the first turn and had a great first lap, but with the mud eating tearoffs, Logan paused to grab a new pair of Spy goggles from his mechanic. His next few laps were faster and he finished 23rd for a 19th overall! This was the first time Logan raced at Ponca and the intense competition allowed him to take his career to a new level!

Just finished practice at Ponca. Logan managed to shave off 9 seconds between morning and afternoon practice! Logan says "it's a really fun track with lots of ruts and high speeds! I'm the first race of the day Wed. lookin forward to it! " stay tuned....

With a crash in the whoops during practice, Logan had his work cut out for him. After some suspension tuning and some awesome starts Logan beat back the Whoop Monster and advanced to the main! In Logan's last moto he lost the front end and went down in the second lap of the Open B main but still managed to finish 31st for a 29th overall. Milleville... the ultimate tune up for Ponca!

Logan takes 1st @ Kingsville, MO! Another track new to Logan, he took 1st place in the first moto, led every lap, and took 1st in the second moto with holeshots in both starts! We knew Logan could win a nite race but the last time he had that opportunity was in 1995 where he was 1st in the Illinois State District 17 50 cc Stadiumcross! Day or Nite he's consistantly FAST!

With the motor back together (thanks John @ Lebanon Kawasaki!) Logan made Saturday practice and got up to speed at the next new track in Missouri Eaglesroost, Halltown, MO. After some overnight thunderstorms it was all about MO Mud! Logan's been know to do 15 laps during a downpour or two in Minnesota (due to the extreme limit on seat time with the short season) so he was totally ready for some fun! He got the holeshot 1st moto, led every lap, and finished 1st. He got the holeshot 2nd moto and finished 1st for a 1st Place Overall!! Logan said "after a few laps it was like riding with a flat tire, the mud was so thick " but you couldn't tell by watchin him. Smooth and FAST! Congrats Logan!! stay tuned...

Logan celebrated is High Performance Machinist Degree by getting back on his KX450 in Missouri. Unfortunately, the first lap of his first moto he broke his shifter and was stuck in 3rd gear for the rest of the first moto. He finished 14th and DNS the second moto due to the hole in his engine case and the loss of the engine oil. Knowledge is power!!! He will be back within two weeks and he can't wait!! Stay tuned....

Logan spent spring break at the new location with sunny skies and warm temps. The sweet sounds of that KX450F were welcomed by friends and family as Logan blasted through practice!
