I have been a racer for many years, road racing motorcycles with a great deal of success as well as competing in hare scrambles, motocross, and downhill mountain biking. As a motorcycle road racer I have won a highly contested 750 Production AFM California State Championship and was ranked 15th in the AMA National Road Racing series.
I started riding mountain bikes to train physically for motorcycle racing, and over the last couple of years, I have turned my attention to competitive Downhill Mountain Bike racing. 2007 is the first year that I have been racing Downhill and I feel I have done very well, finishing on the podium for all 10 races in which I competed.
I have stepped up my training regimen for Downhill racing and have moved up to the Sport class for the remainder of 2007 and the 2008 season. I have been very successful in motorcycle road racing and I would like to apply the same skills of training, team management, race strategy, and determination toward being a successful Downhill bicycle racer.
