Hey! Well, I just got sponsored by an awesome supplement company called Fluid and I'm really stoked! No more sore and tired muscles! Fluid contains a special ingredient called L-Glutamine (a type of amino acid) and a lot of it. 2,500 mg to be specific. It basically feeds your muscles the fuel that they need. The best thing about Glutamine is there are absolutely no negative side effects to it. None! But, there many positive effects! Here's a list:
- Glutamine has been linked to protein synthesis. It prevents your muscle from being catabolized (eaten up) in order to provide Glutamine for other cells in the body.
- Glutamine helps maintain cell volume and hydration, speeding up wound and burn healing and recovery.
- Glutamine benefits you by replenishing declining Glutamine levels during intense workouts.
- Research has shown that Glutamine can help you produce growth in hormone levels. A study has shown that 2 grams of L-Glutamine increased growth in hormones by over 400%.
- Glutamine serves to boost your immune system. For athletes who are highly active, this is important since heavy workouts tend to greatly deplete Glutamine levels. (Glutamine is a primary energy source for your immune system.)
- Glutamine is on of the most important nutrients for your intestines. It has the ability to repair a 'leaky gut' by maintaining the structural integrity of the bowels.
- Glutamine can even cure ulcers! (sores that form in the upper part of the small intestine.) Studies show that 1.6 grams of Glutamine a day had a 92% cure rate of ulcers in 4 weeks.
But Fluid doesn't only contain Glutamine. It also contains carbohydrates and all natural fruit sugar to keep your muscle energy levels high, ultra pure whey protein isolate, electrolytes and Vitamin C to boost your immune system. There's no reason not to buy Fluid! It even comes in two great flavors! Berryand Tropical. So what are waiting for? Check them out!

Sunday, April 5, 1:42 pm. Well, they didn't hold the contest today which is good because the waves were flat. But all they're doing is extending the holding period till next weekend and it's supposed to be just as flat as yesterday and today so there isn't really a point in that. Hopefully they hold it at a backup venue that'll be bigger and better. We'll see what happens.

Sunday, April 4, 11:21 pm. HSA (Hawaii Surfing Association) contest postponed till tomorrow, maybe. They might not even hold it at all because the waves are probably going to be next to flat. I have absolutely no small wave boards and I can't surf small waves so I'm pretty screwed. Well, hopefully they hold it another weekend when the waves are good. I'll post my result if they end up running it. Thanks for reading!
