Overview

How I got started

My dad bought my brothers and I a Honda Z50 one day when I was in about 5th grade and I learned on that. A month or so later I moved up to a Honda XR80, and then a Kawasaki KX85. I started racing on 125s, but as of April of 2007 I have gone Orange, and am the proud owner of a 200XC.

Goals for the Future

I would like to continue riding and getting faster and moving up in harescramble classes. Eventually I would like to do Pro GNCC, but I am still a little ways out for that. I also plan to do some 24 hour events, and other endurance events like marathons, triathlons, ect.

Competitive Highlights

I finished third in points this past season in 2 stroke B, in spite of starting the season in a different class and losing points due to class change, and having mechanical problems in the third and last race.

I finished second place in points in 125B in my series two years ago (youth class), winning three of the races in the process and getting second in the rest.

Training

Bio

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I do a lot of running, I even joined the cross country team at my school so I would basically be forced to run more. I average about 5 miles per day. I also lift weights every week day and I have made my own workouts that are designed to build the muscles needed for racing. I also ride my bicycle a lot. On the days I don`t run I try to ride at least 15 miles if not more. I ride my XR50 and trials bike in the back yard, and try to work on braking, balance, and form. If I have time and gas money then I go mountain biking because it is excellent cross training for woods racing as well.

Employment / Experience Summary

Right now I work to race. I buy my bikes, my parts, my gear, my gas, and everything else. Mom and dad take me to races and they bought our trailer. I have worked for 4 summers in a row now and this year I am working after school as well. I definetly need some sponsors to help me out with some parts and/or gear.
