WINTERS RACING RACE REPORT October 2008 KEVIN CLINCHES THE 2008 SE SUPER ELIMINATOR CHAMPION After a long season of determination and focus, Kevin Winters of Winters Racing has earned his first AHDRA National Championship in the Pingel SE Super Eliminator 10.90 index class. It was a season long, hard fought battle between Kevin and fellow Super Eliminator competitor, Jay Wagner for the championship crown. In the end, Kevin won the war with an 82 point lead after the final event in Rockingham, NC. With this first place finish in SE Super Eliminator, Kevin will display the #1 SE plate for the 2009 AHDRA season. As well as winning the National Championship in SE Super Eliminator, Kevin also finished first in the Eastern Division of SE Super Eliminator. His final standings in his other two classes were 3rd nationally in SEP Screamin’ Eagle Performance and 4th nationally in ET Elapsed Time. During the 2008 season, Kevin went to six finals, two wins and four runner ups. The wins came in Super Eliminator Class in St Louis at the Gypsy Rendezvous Nationals and then again in the Screamin’ Eagle Performance Class in Dallas at the Lonestar Nationals. The runner up finishes came with two in SE Super Eliminator, one in SEP Screamin’ Eagle Performance and one in ET Elapsed Time classes. We want to thank all our sponsors including McHenry Harley Davidson, FS Enterprises, O’Leary’s Bar & Grill, RK Chain, DP Brakes, Hal’s Speed Shop and Miller Motors. We also want to thank all of our contingency sponsors Pingel Enterprises, Redline Oil, Mickey Thompson, Accel, Energy One, Vanson Leathers and Sunoco Fuel. We look forward to the 2009 season and the opportunity for Kevin to defend his #1 SE plate. ANOTHER WIN FOR WINTERS RACING
WINTERS RACING TAKES 1st PLACE IN PRO MOD CLASS, DOC'S LEGAL
COUNTRY DRAGS.
Coming off his first ever AHDRA win
last month in Norwalk, OH, Winters
Racing just finished the weekend in
Kaukauna, Wisconsin at the Doc's
Harley Davidson Legal Country Drags
annual drag racing event. After a long
afternoon of qualifying and elimination
rounds, Kevin kept consistency on his
numbers and proved to be too tough to
beat in Pro Mod class where he took 1st place amongst a large field of
drivers. Kevin said after the race, "It was great to get another win this
year, the track was excellent and the weather was perfect." Click this

WINTERS RACING
RACE REPORT
August 26 th, 2007
YES, ANOTHER 2007 EVENT WIN
FOR WINTERS RACING!
Another great weekend with a 1 st and 2nd
place finish for Winters Racing at the recent
AMRA Harley Shootout held at Great Lakes
Dragaway in Union Grove, WI on August 26
After a long day of Saturday qualifying, Kevin
used his advantage of home track experience
to clinch a 1
Class. Kevin almost had another win in the
Eliminator Class but an unfortunate break down right after
the light turned green gave him a second place finish
instead. Still, this was another winning weekend
for Winters Racing taking a 1
track to continue our successful 2007 race season.
When asked about the final rounds afterwards Kevin said, “The mechanical failure
was a real disappointment. I knew it was my race a hundred feet off the line and
then the bike got stuck in second gear and I had to watch the other guy go past me
for the win. Regardless, a first and second place finish this weekend was awesome
for us and I am hoping to keep this winning streak up for the rest of the season”.
In the AHDRA which is Kevin’s main sanction, we are excited to announce that Kevin
is currently 4
Eliminator
2007 season, we remain focused on our AHDRA events with a goal of a top ten finish
in these classes.
Wish us luck at the Jim McClure
Nationals in Richmond, VA next month.
Sincerely,
Winters Racing Crew th.st place win in the Street Eliminatorst and 2nd place finish on his hometh in SEP Screamin’ Eagle Performance and 8th in SE Supernational points standings. With four more AHDRA races to go for the

ANOTHER AHDRA CLASS WIN
FOR WINTERS RACING!!
The AHDRA S&S Cycles Jim McClure Nationals in Richmond, VA.
Another huge winning weekend for Winters Racing! Although he qualified strong on
Saturday for his main class of SEP Screamin’ Eagle Performance, a loss during the
final Sunday morning qualifying rounds took Kevin out of the show which was a
disappointment to say the least. So instead, he concentrated on the remaining
Elapsed Time
is the quickest class we run at a 10.90 index. In the ET class, Kevin went all the way
to the semi-finals before being eliminated which was a strong finish in this very
crowded and competitive class. However in the SE class, Kevin went all the way to
the finals, cut a light and ran a 10.92 to take his first ever Super Eliminator Class win
in the AHDRA.
This is Kevin’s second AHDRA Class win along with two other non AHDRA event wins
for a total of
Wish us luck in Rockingham next month where we hope to keep this streak alive.

THE WAIT IS OVER!!
Kevin takes the
Screamin' Eagle Performance
class win in Ohio!
In only his second year racing in the AHDRA, Kevin Winters for the first time, takes 1st place in the highly competitive AHDRA Screamin' Eagle Performance Class at the Ohio Bike Week Nationals in Norwalk, Ohio on June 11th, 2007. After extensive improvements to the bike during the off season, Kevin has been kncoking hard on the door of victory since the start of the 2007. It was only a matter of time before everything came together. A combination of good reaction times, consistent machine performance and near perfect weather gave him the ability to qualify 3rd best on Saturday amongst a huge field of bikes and then march through the rounds on race day to a late afternoon win. We look forward to this win carrying us into our next AHDRA event. For more info, see www.winters-racing.com and www.ahdra.com.

Stone Mountain Harley Davidson Southern Nationals. May 2007 Commerce, GA.
Winters Racing hits two milestones in one weekend! For the first time since joining the AHDRA fulltime in 2006, Kevin went all the way to the semi-finals in the highly competitive SEP Screamin' Eagle Performance class with a money win AND took the #1 qualifying seat for the weekend in the 10.90 SE Super Eliminator class with a near perfect 10.904 run! The unbeatable qualifying run, only 4 thousands away from perfection, awarded Kevin with the honor of walking out with all the other class top qualifiers during opening ceremonies on Sunday. (click on the photo below). In all, Kevin qualified strong for Sunday's show in all three of his classes including ET, SEP and SE, took home some money and the bragging rights of being the weekend's #1 Super Eliminator qualifier. Huge thanks to our sponsors for their support including the new FiberWise pit awning which seems to be our new good luck charm. The next AHDRA is only a week away in Norwalk, OH on June 9th and 10th and we are already planning for more success then. Watch for more updates as they happen!

WINTERS RACING TAKES A MONEY IN TEXAS!!
The Rucker Performance Nationals in Dallas Texas May 5-6 was a fun weekend that ended with a money win in the SEP Screamin’ Eagle Performance class. With much of Kevin’s family supporting him from the stands, Winters Racing went into Sunday’s show in both SE Super Eliminator and SEP Screamin’ Eagle Performance. Ironically, we had a repeat from our previous race by going two rounds into SE Super Eliminator only to be beat again by the same driver, Roberta Seaman, that had eliminated Kevin in St. Louis a week earlier. It was a tough loss but we have to say a big congratulations to Roberta for being a tough competitor. For SEP Screamin’ Eagle Performance class, Kevin went 3 rounds in until he barely lost out before the quarter finals but not before getting into a SEP money win which ended the weekend on a high note. Overall, our performance gets better, elapsed times get better and consistency gets better. Currently Kevin is 11th in National Points of SE Super Eliminator and we intend to continue our improvement as the 2007 season continues.

The Gypsy Rendezvous Nationals on April 28-29 went well for us with the kind of ¼ mile times we expected with the recent bike improvements. The weather was perfect for fast runs and we qualified strong in our new for 2007 class, SE Super Eliminator. After making the show for Sunday, Kevin went to the second round of SE on Sunday only to be beat by a few hundredths of a second which ended our weekend. The experience and adjustments made to the track environment made us learn more about staying consistent for future races.

Bikeweek Nationals Gainesville, FL March 3-4
The weather was a major factor in this race and proved to complicate everyone's weekend. The rain came and went pretty much all three days severely limiting several qualifying sessions. In a new class for Winters Racing in 2007, Kevin qualified strong in 11th place in SE Super Eliminator but unfortunately lost in the 2nd round. SEP Screamin' Eagle Performance had a DNQ, weather being a significant factor. With all the modifications and major changes done to the drag bike over the off season, we have much to do getting the bike running consistent. However there were some very promising signs of better performance we look forward to taking to the next AHDRA event.
