What do you want to be when you grow up?
I don't ever want to "grow up"! I think staying young at heart is key. During the week I am paid to be a Mechanical Engineer, on the weekends it is all about having fun in the dirt!
Why do you like this sport?
Adrenaline, speed, but the biggest thing for me is the camaraderie between racers and friends. I can't think of anything I would rather be doing!
What inspires you to compete?
My wife. She rips! I have to keep improving or else she will kick my butt on the trails!
Do you train? What does your schedule look like?
Work really puts a kink in training. On a regular week, I ride the road bike to work 3 days, I try to get more than 35 miles during the week. On the weekends we alternate DH and XC rides with fun rides. Sometimes I think most of our training is so that we are fit when we go on vacation!
How's Life Treating You?
I have the greatest wife on the planet, a decent job, and a few bikes to ride. What more can a Mann ask for? :)
