Jem was born in the ancient city of Istanbul. It is the only city in the world, which spans two continents...the true merging of East and West. He moved to London at the age of 4 and was fortunate enough to travel the world and live in such places as Goa, India. He came to America in the early 80's and also traveled extensively spending the summers in Long Island, and the winters in the warm waters of Key West.

Jem Finally moved to San Francisco in the early 90's. He is one of the few natural athletes who can excel at any sport he chooses.  He has played and won awards and honors in Football, Soccer, and Track & field winning the San Francisco CCS title for hurdles. He was also a Decathlete in College and trained with the Olympic team. Before college, he joined the military and had some very interesting times in an Army Psychological Operations Unit working with the 5th Special Forces group. While in the Military, he got his first experience on a motorcycle and has never looked back.

He has ridden the streets for many years and recently started track riding/road racing. It took only a year and a half and he now rides in the advanced racer's group and is planning on getting his race license very soon. He is a methodical rider and has the potential to go very far in this sport. If you have taken a look at his photos you will note that he displays no stickers on his bikes. That is because he is waiting for a sponsor and with his future career, it would be a great investment to support his endeavors.  He welcomes the opportunity to work with all sponsors and looks forward to a successful road racing career.
