Well, with the state championship race tw weks away the grands are right around the corner. I was sick for a couple of weeks and didn`t get to practice like I normally do and my gates went south :-( . One of my best abilities is my gate so I`m hitting the track extra hard to get my groove back. Also getting a practice gate made for the casa! I`ve got to turn my good gate into a LETHAL gate. Plans to turn up to Expert after the grands are still in effect Lots of REALLY fast guys in the class, but I`ve got to turn it up if I`m going to go Vet Pro in `08. I`ll chase a NAG plate next year, and when I make top ten I`ll know it`s time to turn up.

Looking for a top 5 Grands placing this year. I like the "from out of nowhere" approach, and I have only raced one national this year (took 4th), so a lot of riders won`t even see me coming. I`ve got a program in place that has helped tremendously so far this year, and with the help of some very fast Pro friends I`ll be ready!
