Some Personal Information About Me:
I am 9 years old and I am in the 4th grade at Seawind Elementary.I started riding at age 4 and racing around 5 years old.My first bike was a Honda 50 and then I moved up to a KTM 50 Senior Pro. Then I had 2 KX 65's and I changed to 2- KTM 65's. But now I'm starting to race a RM 85.
What inspires you to compete?
My parents and family inspire me to compete.I know that my parents give up alot so that I can participate in motocross. My stepdad and dad keep the bikes running and my mom makes sure I have everything thing I need from clean, matching gear to plenty of water, powerade, and snacks!!She's also good for a hug and a smile after a bad day on the track:):):)
How's Life Treating You?
Life is treating me pretty good. Not too many kids get to ride and race dirtbikes in their spare time. This summer I went to Ocala,Florida to HardRock Cycle Park to the Go Fast MX Camp that was run by Jadd Knox.I had an amazing time at camp.Whats not to like about an entire week of riding dirtbikes and no parents!!I met some great people and for the first time learned how to take care of myself and my dirtbike.I can say that the only bad thing that has happened lately was the bad wreck that I had one weekend at practice at my local home track.I was involved in a bad wreck and was airlifted to the hospital where I spent a few days in the ICU for my head trauma.I have made pretty much a full recovery and of course I am back on my bike!!!
Do you train? What does your schedule look like?
My parents are teaching me to work hard not just for motocross but for everything in life. I do pushups, pull ups, and situps at least three times a week. I ride my bike about 6-8 miles twice a week and I'm working up to ten miles soon. I try to ride during the week if my family has time to take me. Also, I started wrestling which is an so hard and such a workout.
